TONY PHARO

Tony Pharo, an American artist hailing from upstate New York, made a life-altering shift by relocating to California, where he now calls Irvine home. Having embraced sobriety for seven years, he's deeply rooted in California and finds everyday inspiration for his Modern and Contemporary Art. Pharo doesn't fit into traditional categories, seeing his work as part of an unnamed movement, akin to talents like George Condo and George Morton-Clark were later redefined.
His art reflects a boundless freedom, rejecting the confines of contemporary movements. Pharo's paintings, described as expressive and dynamic,
defy limits with colors colliding and lines weaving in chaotic yet beautifully nihilistic patterns. Despite this conceptual approach, Pharo believes art should
be accessible to all, viewing it as a therapeutic outlet for coping with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Painting offers him a flow state, liberating him from past traumas and beliefs.
