MOTONORI UWASU

Motonori Uwasu is a contemporary artist whose work captures the interplay between everyday life and industrial landscapes. Living in Higashi-Osaka, a city renowned for its dense concentration of factories, Uwasu draws inspiration from the urban environments surrounding his home and studio. This unique backdrop influences his art, often reflecting themes of architecture, vehicles, and the geometry of modern life.

Born in Osaka in 1975, Uwasu graduated from the Fine Art Department of Osaka University of Arts in 1999. Over the years, his distinctive monochromatic style and sharp observations of daily life have earned him recognition both in Japan and internationally. Exhibitions Include:
