MUEBON

MUEBON is a renowned Thai street artist whose work bridges cultural contrasts and explores the vibrancy of urban life. Raised in a riverside community in Bangkok, MUEBON's childhood was defined by the dualities of scarcity and abundance. The vivid allure of advertisements, like Coca-Cola's iconic branding, offered glimpses into a seemingly unattainable world of happiness, freedom, and success. These ideals contrasted sharply with the realities of his environment, where resources were limited, yet creativity flourished. These formative experiences profoundly shaped his worldview and continue to inform his artistic practice.

Since earning a fine art degree in 2005, MUEBON has risen to become one of Asia's most prolific street artists, leaving his mark across urban landscapes worldwide. His signature characters and murals explore themes of memory, advertising culture, and globalization, offering a sharp critique of consumerism through playful yet poignant visuals.

In 2007, MUEBON joined Souled Out Studios, gaining international recognition and a dedicated collector base. His first solo show in 2014 further solidified his reputation, featuring paintings, sculptures, and installations that captivated audiences in Japan, Russia, and beyond. His art was even showcased during the Moscow 2018 World Cup opening ceremony, amplifying his global impact.

MUEBON’s work continues to captivate audiences worldwide, offering a vivid exploration of the intersections between personal memory, global culture, and the promises of modernity.
